Pennut ovat nyt yli kilon painoisia ja silmät ovat auenneet. Ne myöskin ovat pikku hiljaa alkaneet kävelemään, ensin hoiperrellen etujaloillaan. Yksi niistä jopa onnistui kiipeämään ulos laatikosta joten jouduttiin uudelleen rakentamaan laatikko. Tehtiin samalla paljon suuremmaksi ja siirrettiin käytävään joten voimme pitää niitä silmällä ja he meitä..
Zelda pitää hyvin huolta pennuista ja pitää sekä heidät että tilat hyvin puhtaana. Pennut ovat myös alkaneet leikkiä keskenään.
The puppies are now all over 1kg, they have all had their eyes open for several days and they are starting to toddle around - one of them even decided to make a getaway, managing to climb out of the whelping box! So we have redesigned the box and moved it into the hallway where we can keep an eye on them. And they on us.
Zelda is doing a great job of keeping them all fed and clean and tidy. She is quite happy to sleep in the box now that there is a bit more space. This means they don't yelp all night and keep us awake.
We've noticed they are starting to play with each other, rolling around in between meals and exploring each other and their box.
